The National Contest MISS BELARUS for the first time was held in 1998 and has become a good tradition.

The Contest is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Education, Minsk city council, The National TV and radio company, the National Beauty School together with the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for support of talented youth.

The National Contest MISS BELARUS is considered to be the most gorgeous show in our country, that is why it takes place in the main performance hall of the country — The Palace of Republic.

24 delegates from all over the Belarus who passed the regional and republic contests take part in the National competition.

In 2004 the National Beauty School has established the prize — golden crown, which has became a symbol of the Contest MISS BELARUS and awarded to an annual winner of the competition.
